The capacity of AI-powered medical devices to deliver tailored treatment is one of its most significant advantages. These gadgets can identify future health problems and advise preventative steps by assessing a patient’s medical history, genetic information, and lifestyle variables. Telemedicine reduces the cost burden associated with hospital visits, such as travel expenses and hospital stays.

However, the introduction of AI into medical equipment has not been without challenges.
Given the delicate nature of health information, concerns regarding data privacy and security are crucial. There are additional ethical issues to consider when using AI in healthcare, such as the possibility of bias in AI algorithms and the consequences of AI making medical choices.

Telemedicine includes the communication of sensitive medical information, necessitating
stringent data security safeguards to protect patient privacy. Furthermore, not all patients have access to the requisite telemedicine equipment, thereby aggravating healthcare inequities.
