Interactive Transformer Pitch Podium Adds Thrill To 2nd IHW Digital Health Summit and Awards

The 2nd IHW Digital Health Summit organized by the think tank IHW Council was followed by a novel, dedicated and interactive pitch podium for digital health start-ups. The open platform powered by Super Konnect and Transformer provided health start-ups an exclusive platform for spot funding to new and innovative ideas. The initiative also provided a unique opportunity for these start-ups to get feedback and suggestions from industry experts as well as to voice the challenges and bottlenecks that they have experienced in the commercial space.

While speaking on the occasion Binil Mathew, Manager, of Startup India, said, “The idea of Aatmanirbhar Bharat was seeded to identify areas where India is competent to manufacture and export to other countries thus attracting foreign investors and we have also seen tremendous results, and potential as far as start-ups are concerned.”

Healthcare start-ups like Field Force Monitor App, IEEARC Technologies Pvt Ltd, Medi impact Healthcare Pvt Ltd, We Call, neuphony, and Reach4Help discussed about their business models and their future prospects with industry doyens at the coveted platform. These start-ups are engaged in providing sustainable and long-term solutions in health and wellness ranging from digital diagnostic solutions, remote patient monitoring, and teleconsultation services, ML data utilized for predictive and prescriptive analysis, and personal wellness equipment.

Sabhyata Verma, Senior Manager, Invest India said that “The government has provided the much-needed impetus and encouragement to start-ups through regulations and policy change, however the need of the hour is for all stakeholders to come together and create a positive ecosystem for these businesses to thrive.”

The insights from experts helped the start-ups identify the gaps in digital healthcare and work towards addressing them with a holistic health approach. Speaking on the future of health start-ups, Abhishek Mishra, Founder, of Super Konnect observed, “If the idea appeals to the last man sitting in a far of rural area, then only does it have the potential to attract end users and customers. It is imperative that we focus on inclusivity and designing user-friendly products and technologies.”
