Amazon today announced the launch of its Kindle Unlimited service in India, which will start at a monthly price of Rs 199. The Kindle Unlimited is a subscription service that allows customers to freely read as many books as they want from Kindle books. Kindle Unlimited will lets readers access books across genres, including fiction, health, productivity, business and economics, biographies, children books.
Amazon customers can also sign up for six months for Rs 999 or 12 months for Rs 1799. Amazon is also offering reading first month of subscription at Rs 99 from today till September 30.
Kindle Unlimited readers will also get option to choose from exclusive Kindle titles, and get access to other features like Whispersync, Popular Highlights, X-Ray, and customer reviews. The Kindle service can be accessed on Kindle devices and free Kindle reading apps for iPhone, iPad, Android tablets and phones, PC and Mac.
