Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with NIRNAYA Systems & Solutions to jointly pursue opportunities across IT infrastructure, data centres, cybersecurity, enterprise resource planning, healthcare IT, artificial intelligence and machine learning applications, software development and analytics platforms.
Under the agreement, the two companies will identify and pursue projects by combining BEL’s scale and reach with NIRNAYA’s technology and solutions capabilities.
The MoU was exchanged by Anuradha Mahur, General Manager, Civilian Marketing, BEL, and Binay Pratap Shahi, Co-Founder, NIRNAYA Systems & Solutions, in the presence of senior officials from both organisations.
“This partnership with BEL is a significant milestone for NIRNAYA. It allows us to bring our expertise in cybersecurity, data centres, and AI/ML-driven solutions to a much larger canvas, while combining it with BEL’s scale and trust as a Navratna Defence PSU,” Shahi said.
“We look forward to jointly building solutions that address India’s growing digital infrastructure needs,” he added.
The partnership is part of BEL’s efforts to expand its presence in civilian technology markets beyond its traditional defence business, according to the company.
