Bosch SDS and NxtGen partner to launch sovereign AI cloud for Industry 4.0 in India

Bosch Software and Digital Solutions (Bosch SDS) and NxtGen have announced a strategic partnership to launch India’s Sovereign Industrial AI Cloud, aimed at enabling enterprises to deploy secure, compliant, and high-performance AI and Industry 4.0 workloads hosted entirely within the country. The initiative comes as Indian industries increasingly look for data-sovereign infrastructure to support large-scale digital transformation and AI adoption while meeting regulatory and security requirements.

The collaboration combines Bosch SDS’s manufacturing-focused AI capabilities, including Industry 4.0 platforms, digital twin, simulation, and engineering solutions, with NxtGen’s sovereign cloud, edge data center infrastructure, private cloud, and GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) offerings. Together, the companies plan to deliver an integrated environment that allows enterprises to run advanced AI workloads while ensuring compliance with data residency, security, and industry regulations.

As part of the partnership, the companies will jointly develop a Digital Twin–based Manufacturing Cloud, integrating Bosch SDS’s industrial AI and IoT platforms with NxtGen’s orchestration and sovereign infrastructure stack. The platform is expected to support use cases such as predictive maintenance, AI-enabled manufacturing intelligence, asset optimization, and secure edge-to-cloud data orchestration for industrial environments.

The architecture will enable enterprises to modernize operations while maintaining full control over sensitive operational data through centralized monitoring, remote management, and compliant edge deployments. Flexible deployment options, including cloud, edge data center, and cloud-at-customer models, will allow organizations to run GPU-accelerated workloads closer to production systems, improving performance and reliability for mission-critical applications.

Under the agreement, NxtGen will provide managed GPU infrastructure services, including provisioning, lifecycle management, performance tuning, security, and Kubernetes-based orchestration, while Bosch SDS will contribute domain-led AI applications, platform engineering, and system integration. The partnership also includes joint go-to-market initiatives, sector-specific solution development, and co-creation of Industry 4.0 offerings for manufacturing, retail, and engineering sectors.

According to the companies, the sovereign AI cloud will help Indian enterprises move beyond pilot projects to production-grade AI deployments, enabling real-time operational intelligence while ensuring compliance, scalability, and data control in mission-critical environments.
