The website has been launched at a time when the mountain force has received government sanction to raise at least ten new battalions (about 10,000 personnel) for border guarding and other duties.

The website, hosted by the National Informatics Centre, will act as a solution provider to all the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about getting a job in the force, raised in 1962 in the aftermath of the Chinese aggression.
