Elastic has signed a multi-year partnership with Audi Revolut F1 Team, building on the racing team’s existing use of Elastic’s search and observability technology to investigate software issues across its engineering systems.
Under the agreement, Elastic will be the team’s Official Race Partner for the 2026 United States Grand Prix, scheduled for October 23–25 in Austin, Texas, and its Official Search and Observability Supplier from the 2027 season.
The team currently uses Elastic’s technology to centralise and analyse software logs across connected engineering applications, including selected trackside systems. The deployment uses Logstash to collect and process application logs, Elasticsearch to make them searchable, and Kibana for dashboards and analysis.
The system allows engineers to investigate errors, correlate events and identify potential causes of software issues. The partnership also creates opportunities to extend search and observability capabilities to additional engineering applications.
“The Audi Revolut F1 Team already uses Elastic to give technical teams one place to search software logs and investigate issues across connected applications. We look forward to building on that work together and exploring how Search and Observability can support more of the team’s engineering environment,” said Ash Kulkarni, CEO of Elastic.
Stefano Battiston, Chief Commercial and Brand Officer at Audi Revolut F1 Team, said data analysis was central to performance in modern Formula 1.
“Performance comes from finding the right signals in that data, understanding what’s happening across complex systems, and acting quickly,” Battiston said. He added that the technology would help engineers identify anomalies earlier and investigate issues faster.
The partnership will be activated at the United States Grand Prix, with Elastic branding on the Audi R26’s halo and headrest.
