Health and wellness startup, CureJoy secures$1.15M funding led by Accel Partners

The company will use these funds to further expand their services in India and other countries and strengthen its team to compliment their capabilities. 

Bengaluru and San Francisco based online health and wellness startup, CureJoy has secured $1.15M funding in Pre-Series A round, led by Accel Partners, India. Serial entrepreneurs Subrata Mitra, Larry Braitman (Founder of Flycast & Adify), Venk Krishnan (Founder and CEO of Nuware Technologies) and others participated in the pre series A round of funding.

The company will use these funds to further expand their services in India and other countries and strengthen its team to compliment their capabilities.

Brainchild of serial entrepreneurs Dikshant Dave and Shrinivasa Sharma, CureJoy was incorporated in October 2013 to address the common concerns of people in the existing healthcare system. CureJoy is headquartered in California, USA and manages the entire operations and development from Bangalore. So far, it has received two rounds of investments by Accel Partners, India and Independent Angels based out of US and India.

CureJoy, provides curated content through its backend algorithms and technology on natural health and wellness by experts usually associated with large universities like Stanford or UCLA and merges it with the global trends and patterns. The platform boasts of over 8 million site visits per month and Facebook community with about 2.7 Million users.
