ImaginXP’s future-skills degree courses fetch ROI for students

India currently has an abysmally low GER (Gross Enrolment Ratio) of 26.6 per cent. This signifies that the rest 74 per cent population has not been able to become a part of the higher education system due to factors like restricted access or lack of affordability. Adding to this problem, India would further require about 2.7 million digitally-skilled professionals by 2023. But with the country’s present GER and the increasing employment-skill gap, it is evident that a substantial percentage of the nation’s workforce still suffers from a dearth of future skill sets and advanced proficiencies such as UX design, RPA, blockchain, fintech etc. At a time, when the pandemic has seemingly accelerated the process of digital transition for businesses around the globe, Indian companies are struggling to innovate and scale; largely due to the glaring absence of future-based skills in professional workforces.

Therefore, in their bid to resolve this problematic situation and bridge the ever-burgeoning employability-skill void, ImaginXP, India’s higher edutech company has created a superior University-embedded learning model that offers a slew of full-time degree programmes and credit courses. These courses specialise in developing futuristic skill-sets across fields like design, business and technology. The new-age industry-led courses comprise various emerging skill-disciplines such as RPA, UX design, robotics, cybersecurity, data science, IoT, fintech, healthtech, digital marketing, product management etc.

By churning practical and industry-embedded course modules, ImaginXP has revolutionised the outmoded curriculums of conventional graduate and post-graduate degree programs. Unlike traditional universities, the new-age edutech company has primarily focused on ensuring that their course-offerings remain industry-relevant and provide adequate exposure to students. By helping students imbibe a number of advanced skills and futuristic tech-proficiencies, ImaginXP has enabled countless students attain substantial ROI on their higher education by securing  lucrative packages for 500+ students at the end of their course.

The efforts of ImaginXP in producing adept and future-ready workforces has been fruitful, to say the least. Of the total students enrolled, over 65 per cent students managed to receive a pre-placement offer from the same companies in which they initially interned.  Another 20 per cent have been recruited by the corporate coaches who are preparing these students for promising placements and annual packages. While the ongoing 2021 final placements ensued during August, an impressive 80 per cent of the students have already received corporate placements through previous PPOs, corporate coach hiring, and campus drives. With an average annual package of INR 8.3 lakh, the highest grossing package was a whopping INR 18 lakh which was given by Deloitte.

Speaking on the placements, Abhayjeet Singh, Chief Academic Officer, ImaginXP said, “With the total number of students joining our degree programmes multiplying from a few hundreds to a few thousands in a span of merely two years, there is something which sets us apart from the rest of the players in the Indian edutech circuit. It is essentially our unwavering commitment towards churning the maximum ROI for our students. The cutting-edge MyCoach platform by ImaginXP focuses on creating a virtual cohort of students with the mentors, corporates and faculty. Moreover, our industry-embedded faculty at more than 30 universities has continued to collaborate and provide rich and relevant learning experiences alongside proper guidance to every student who aspires to enhance his or her professional curve by acquiring futuristic and disruptive skill sets. Therefore, a plethora of industry leaders across diverse verticals naturally prefer on-boarding professional talent from our ranks. No wonder, our students continue to challenge and break the established norms in placements and packages.”

Also commenting on the placements, Kasturi, a student of DIT University said,” When I enrolled at DIT University in 2019 to pursue a Masters in Design – UX, I did not have the faintest idea that I would soon join the pioneering team within the Adani group that is currently disrupting the country’s digital ecosystem, like no other. Even my classmates did not imagine that we would be interning and then working with Global giants such as EY, Cognizant, Deloitte Digital, IBM, Cap Gemini, Ok Credit, and many more. A number of these big-league conglomerates have consciously chosen to hire students emerging from ImaginXP. All thanks to our future skills degree programs which are available across 30+ university campuses in the country. With salary packages averaging a considerable 30% higher than students from the same universities studying in traditional degree programs, ImaginXP has redefined value-based education in the country through a reinstated focus on skill-development and skill-augmentation. With an extensive skill-employment gap being witnessed across the county, ImaginXP’s university-embedded and industry-centric learning model is indeed a welcome relief from the wide clutter of extraneous and irrelevant learning models operating in the country.”
