Ixia and info security research and advisory company NSS Labs have announced partnership to provide customers with the tools and knowledge needed to test and validate network security in their labs.
In combination with Ixia’s security solutions, the new NSS Test Packs provide enterprises and equipment manufacturers the ability to find network security issues and failures in their own labs prior to deployment, saving time and costs.
Network security test cycles, in pre-deployment enterprise networks and in equipment manufacturer R&D, are critical to ensuring the resiliency of enterprise networks and the corresponding networking equipment. However, the traditional test cycles can be lengthy and expensive.
Using Ixia’s security solutions along with the NSS Test Packs, enterprises and equipment manufacturers now have a streamlined way to benefit from the gold standard of testing to evaluate and test products for performance, resiliency and efficacy.
