Karnataka MSMEs to become globally competitive, powered by Global Bharat Movement from SAP and FKCCI

With the changing business scenarios due to the ongoing pandemic, there is an increasing demand from Indian MSMEs to go digital. Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FKCCI) along with SAP is bringing the Global Bharat movement to the local MSMEs in the state of Karnataka, empowering them to become globally competitive. The movement will work towards enabling the local MSMEs to become future-ready by providing them access to the global marketplace, digitally skilling their workforce and technology to transform their business processes.

Under this Covid-19 pandemic situation, MSMEs are finding it difficult for their businesses to stay relevant. Hence there is a growing need to support them. SAP’s Global Bharat movement will enable these MSMEs to find various avenues through digital transformations. FKCCI is happy to join hands with SAP for such an initiative which will help revive their economic conditions.

“FKCCI has always been at the forefront of socio-economic development in the state of Karnataka. By bringing the Global Bharat movement along with SAP to the local businesses in the state, we are ensuring that businesses leverage technology to grow their business and become future-ready, leading to overall industry growth,” said Perikal M Sundar, President, FKCCI.

With digital growth and sustainable development becoming the norm for businesses to thrive and grow in the current pandemic situation. Global Bharat will allow MSMEs in Tamil Nadu to go digital and provide them with digital technologies that will drive greater efficiencies for their business.

“Digital transformation is of crucial importance especially for Small and Medium businesses to compete in the new environment. With more that 80 per cent of our customer base being SMEs, we understand their technological needs and specific business requirements. By bringing SAP’s Global Bharat movement along with FKCCI to the local businesses in Karnataka, we are ensuring that they can lead the charter in their industries for digital transformation and become future-ready,” Subramanian Ananthapadmanabhan, Vice President, Mid-Market, SAP Indian Subcontinent.
