Organised by Spielwarenmesse India Pvt. Ltd., the event brings together leading manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and industry professionals. The fair continues to serve as a crucial platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and market expansion, supported by the Sports Goods Export Promotion Council (SGEPC), the All India Toy Manufacturers’ Association (TAITMA), and the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME).

“The strong response to our Hosted Buyer Programme from both Indian and international participants underscores Kids India’s position as a premier business hub for the toy industry,” said Tanu Ailawadi, Managing Director, Spielwarenmesse India Pvt. Ltd.

Product Innovation and Business at the Forefront

This year’s edition features several product launches, including the unveiling of Cricket Icons’ 7-inch Action Figures—a premium collectible line celebrating cricket fandom. The launch reaffirms Kids India’s growing stature as a central hub for product innovation and brand engagement.

Knowledge Exchange and Industry Insights

The 2025 conference programme focuses on transformative themes shaping the global toy industry. Sessions cover the development of a toy safety ecosystem in India, the impact of smart toys, AI, and digital technology on play behaviour, and Toys Without Barriers, exploring inclusion through accessible and gender-neutral designs. Another key session, “From Importer to Exporter: India’s Rising Global Footprint in the Toy Industry”, highlights the country’s emergence as a manufacturing and export powerhouse.

The opening ceremony featured prominent leaders who shared their perspectives on the future of India’s toy sector.
Ashish Shelar, Cabinet Minister of Information Technology & Cultural Affairs, Government of Maharashtra, said:

“Let us build toy brands that carry the soul of India—where innovation meets tradition, and every child’s play becomes a journey through our culture and values. As we embrace global standards, our toys must continue to tell stories rooted in Indian ethos, inspiring young minds worldwide.”

Florian Hess, CEO, Spielwarenmesse eG, remarked, “India’s toy industry is undergoing a remarkable transformation. With rising domestic production, enhanced safety compliance, and growing innovation, Kids India provides the ideal platform to connect Indian manufacturers with global buyers.”

Jatin Sapru, television host and cricket commentator, added:
