Microsoft Azure and collective artists network’s galleri5 drive an AI Leap in filmmaking

Collective Artists Network and Microsoft announced a strategic partnership to redefine the future of AI-powered content creation. Leveraging Microsoft Azure’s advanced AI and cloud capabilities, this collaboration will set new benchmarks for innovation and efficiency in filmmaking, episodic storytelling, and advertising.

At the heart of this partnership is Collective Artists Networks technology studio, Galleri5, which has selected Microsoft Azure AI Foundry as its foundational platform. By combining Collective’s creative and production expertise with Microsoft’s cutting-edge AI solutions, the alliance aims to deliver scalable, secure, and transformative storytelling experiences across multiple formats.

Collective Artists Network is developing a slate of AI-driven feature films, including Chiranjeevi Hanuman – The Eternal slated for worldwide theatrical release in 2026. Additionally, more than 40 AI-enabled micro-dramas are set to air across major TV networks and OTT platforms. The company has also announced Mahabharat: Ek Dharmayudh an AI-enabled episodic series to be broadcast on national television and digital platforms, using advanced technology to bring it to mainstream audiences.

Galleri5 AI, Collective Artists Network’s innovation engine, is building mythology and culture-based AI datasets to reinterpret timeless stories and create new narratives. Using Microsoft Azure’s robust cloud infrastructure and AI services, Galleri5 AI enables secure, efficient workflows and scalable storytelling solutions for everything from short-form advertising to full-scale cinematic productions.

Earlier this year, Collective Artists Network unveiled Trilok, India’s first AI-powered band, along with several AI influencers, Kavya, Radhika, and Kabir, each with distinct identities and narratives, designed to engage audiences across fashion, lifestyle, and culture. These initiatives demonstrate the company’s commitment to merging creativity, technology, and popular culture.

The use of Azure extends beyond infrastructure to include joint initiatives with Microsoft in the areas of Generative AI, machine learning and model finetuning. “AI will not just assist filmmaking, it will empower creators with new tools. With Microsoft Azure’s AI capabilities powering Galleri5, we are creating datasets, pipelines, and productions that will support future AI makers – from directors to technicians to actors – from a global content viewpoint,” said Vijay Subramaniam, Founder & Group CEO of Collective Artists Network.

“As Collective Artists Network advances AI-driven filmmaking and advertising, Microsoft Azure provides Galleri5 with the AI and cloud foundation required to explore new possibilities in creativity and storytelling. By combining Azure’s capabilities with Collective Artists Network’s creative vision, this collaboration demonstrates how technology Collective Artists Network help shape new forms of cultural and creative expression powered by AI,” said Puneet Chandok, President, Microsoft India and South Asia.
