Mindteck joins the Intel Internet of Things (IoT) solutions alliance

Mindteck has an Ignite platform encompassing an Intelligent Lighting System (Ignite-ILS) and Energy Management System (Ignite-EMS). The platform is one of the key components of the Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem. It enables OEM/ODM and system integrator customers to rapidly develop end customer-specific, robust and customized solutions at optimized cost.

Mindteck has announced that it has entered into an alliance with Intel that will provide them with scalable, interoperable solutions to accelerate the deployment of intelligent devices and end-to-end analytics. Close collaboration with Intel and other members will enable Mindteck to innovate with the latest Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. Other benefits include leading-edge solutions, faster time-to-market and design and development expertise.

This alliance will provide Mindteck with a market advantage through a solution-centered ecosystem program based on Intel architecture. By aligning with Intel and using standards-based, modular building blocks, Mindteck will be providing their customers with more robust performance, faster time-to-profit, greater opportunity for innovation, easier software development, and a trusted supply line based on the Intel Embedded Platform Roadmap.

The platform is one of the key components of the Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem. It enables OEM/ODM and system integrator customers to rapidly develop end customer-specific, robust and customized solutions at optimized cost. This technology has been deployed on large-scale buildings and city-wide intelligent street lighting projects.

“Mindteck has been at the forefront of IoT paradigm. In 2010, we implemented a project for a UK-based utility company, and since then have delivered a host of solutions using IoT technology. We have also developed our own set of IoT-based IPs. This alliance only proves our commitment to the IoT space,” said Yusuf Lanewala, Mindteck Chairman and Managing Director.
