Mitsogo sets base in Chennai

Mitsogo Inc., a leading provider of Unified Endpoint Management and security solutions, has announced their new office in Chennai, India. Headquartered in San Francisco, California, the company is on an expansion mode and plans to make the city a key hub, owing to its vast talent pool. This will be their second office in India, with the first in Kochi, Kerala where they already have 250+ employees, of which a major part is for product development. The company also has offices in Australia and Germany.

Mitsogo is going all out to hire fresh talent from 250 colleges from across the country, which includes prestigious institutions like NITs and IITs. This major recruitment drive is aimed at reaching out to 25,000+ students, across Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh through an online testing platform. Mitsogo has also completely revamped the salary packages, with fresher packages for the software analyst role starting at 9.5 LPA and the packages for other roles range between six LPA and 7.5 LPA.

The total team strength in Chennai is expected to go up to 300 in the next few months. Mitsogo is also one of the few companies which witnessed no layoffs because of the pandemic. The company grew almost 33 per cent in terms of headcount and a 200 per cent revenue hike due to an induced demand with the shift from office to ‘work from home’ environment. Its future plans include a target for a further 200 per cent increase in revenue.

Started in 2013 in Kochi, Mitsogo is one of the fastest growing SaaS businesses in the enterprise security industry. Competing with titans like Microsoft, VMware, etc. Mitsogo’s flagship product Hexnode UEM has established a profound status in the industry in these eight years. With its headquarters in San Francisco, a major part of the development team is in the Indian office located at Kochi, Kerala.

Having added new roles like business analysts, product management associates, software analysts, and product designers, the company offers attractive compensation packages and ensures a growth-driven career path.
