Practo expands footprint in 35 cities in India, raises $30 mn

Practo, a leading doctor search engine in Asia, today announced it’s expansion plans to 35 Indian cities and more than six international locations by March 2016. Practo is currently present in India, Singapore and Philippines and is growing rapidly in each of these markets.

As a result of the $30 million series B funding, Avnish Bajaj, Managing Director at Matrix India will join Practo’s Board of Directors. Every month, over one million users book 120,000 appointments via Practo Search. According to a statement released by the company, Practo’s search volume has grown more than 10x in the last one year.
