ServiceNow appoints Kulmeet Bawa as MD and GVP for India and SAARC

ServiceNow has appointed Kulmeet Bawa as managing director and group vice president for India and SAARC, reinforcing its strategic focus on one of the fastest-growing digital transformation markets globally.

Bawa brings over two decades of experience across enterprise technology and SaaS, most recently serving as Global Chief Revenue Officer at SAP, where he led global revenue strategy and execution. He has also previously served as President and Managing Director for SAP India and earlier led South Asia operations at Adobe.

His appointment comes at a time when India is increasingly becoming central to global technology strategies, both as a growth market and as a hub for digital innovation. Prior to his corporate career, Bawa spent over 12 years as a cavalry officer in the Indian Army, an experience that continues to shape his leadership approach.

In his new role, Bawa will be responsible for driving growth, strengthening customer engagement, and expanding ServiceNow’s digital transformation footprint across India and the SAARC region. Based in New Delhi, he will oversee regional operations starting April 2026.

According to Adrian Johnston, President APAC at ServiceNow, India represents not just a growth market but a critical engine for the company’s global ambitions. He highlighted Bawa’s combination of global experience and regional expertise as key to scaling the business in the region.

Bawa emphasised the opportunity to deepen enterprise partnerships and help organisations unlock the full potential of the ServiceNow platform, which integrates workflows across cloud environments, data systems, and AI models.

With this leadership move, ServiceNow is positioning itself to capitalise on rising demand for AI-led workflow automation and enterprise transformation, as organisations across India and SAARC accelerate their shift towards more connected, autonomous, and intelligent operations.
