Simmtronics becomes the first tablet manufacturer in India to touch 3 lakh units per month

 Simmtronics Semiconductors has increased its tablet manufacturing capacity to 3 lakhs per month at its manufacturing facility in Roorkie. In order to meet the growing demand for tablet’s in the country, the company has increased its tablet production capacity. The company will further increase its manufacturing capacity to six lakh tablets per month by the end of 2012.

“The fast growing tablet market has forced us to increase our tablet manufacturing capacity to 3 lakhs units per month. In addition to India, we will also be exporting these products to countries like Dubai and South Africa,” said Indrajit Sabharwal, Managing Director, Simmtronics Semiconductors Ltd.
 
Simmtronics manufactures memory module, tablets and netbooks in the country.  The company has three manufacturing facilities and has sales offices in UAE, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, India, UK, USA and Singapore.
