Toshiba India has announced that Supertron Electronics Ltd will be its national distributor for AMD-powered laptops and its entire range of netbooks. The appointment of Supertron Electronics is in line with the company’s plans to further its reach to consumers in tier 2 and tier 3 towns.
Pranab Mohanty, Vice President- Sales and Field Marketing, Toshiba India, said, “Through this tie up, we at Toshiba have taken another step to reach out to all our potential consumers in smaller cities and towns and provide them the opportunity to own the latest technology. We are pleased to join hands with Supertron Electronics Ltd. for a national distribution arrangement to market our entire range of AMD processor-powered Laptops and the entire range of netbooks.”
VK Bhandari CMD, Supertron Electronics Ltd, said, “By leveraging our pan India presence with over 29 branch offices and warehouses and nine satellite offices together with our loyal customer base, dedicated sales and post-sales teams, we are certain that consumers across India will be able to benefit with high-quality products from Toshiba.”
With this appointment, Toshiba India now has a network of four national distributors and ten regional distributors for its laptop business across India.
