UltraLED launches MiP display and expands into professional AV solutions

UltraLED Displays, a brand of BSE-listed Titan Intech Limited, has launched its Ultra Shield MiP LED display and unveiled a professional audio-visual (AV) solutions portfolio at InfoComm India 2026 in Mumbai.

The launches mark the company’s expansion beyond LED displays into video conferencing, audio, wireless collaboration, recording and streaming, and boardroom systems. UltraLED is showcasing its indoor, outdoor and customised displays alongside the new portfolio at the event, being held at the Jio World Convention Centre from September 16 to 18.

The Ultra Shield MiP display uses Micro LED in Package technology and is designed for corporate environments, control rooms, broadcast facilities, experience centres, luxury retail and premium public spaces.

The display is available in pixel pitches as low as 0.78 mm, with a pixel density of up to 1.63 million pixels per square metre, a 7,000:1 contrast ratio and brightness of up to 1,000 nits. It also supports a 170-degree viewing angle, a 3,840Hz refresh rate and 16-bit greyscale.

According to the company, its common cathode architecture enables average power consumption as low as 112 W per square metre. The display has a front-access design for maintenance, cabinet flatness of 0.1mm or less, and an operational lifespan of up to 100,000 hours.

Alongside the display launch, UltraLED’s new AV portfolio includes conferencing cameras and collaboration systems, conference microphones and speakerphones, wireless content-sharing technologies, recording and streaming systems, and integrated boardroom solutions. The portfolio is intended for workplaces, educational institutions, government facilities, command centres and other professional environments.

Mr Su Piow Ko, director, Titan Intech Limited, said the company was expanding its offering in response to customer requirements beyond display hardware.

“We have a lot of customers asking us about the surrounding devices apart from the display,” Ko said in an interaction. “We started with a focus on education and meeting rooms.”

Ko said the company had already received interest in potential AV projects and hoped to close some of them during the year. He added that offering displays and AV equipment under one brand could help customers deploy an integrated solution.

“Most of our customers are very happy that we have AV, because the overall equipment in one project can use a single brand name,” he said.

India’s focus and manufacturing plans

Ko said UltraLED’s near-term growth strategy would remain focused on India, citing demand from government infrastructure projects and commercial spaces. Areas of interest include command and control rooms, airports, railways, transportation infrastructure, government offices, corporate offices and shopping centres.

He also said the company expected to begin producing its first Chip-on-Board (COB) module in India by November, following the establishment of its factory in Hyderabad. Ko said the company had also obtained a GeM qualification, enabling it to pursue government-market opportunities.

On the role of AI, Ko said the company was exploring its use in product design and development, including reducing design time and identifying issues through AI-based tools. He also referred to potential applications such as automatic brightness adjustment based on ambient lighting and screen interactions using AI.

UltraLED Displays is a brand of Titan Intech Limited and develops locally engineered LED display solutions. The company said the latest launches are part of its broader effort to expand its product portfolio and distribution presence in India.
