1) Today in around 300 buses we have active Electronic Ticketing Machines (ETM) that generate data
2) ‌So we compile data from GPS & ETMs installed in buses and we’re able to identify the number of people using the buses and also gaps or weak points. This helps us to optimise and improve operations
3) ‌Using these IT tools we have been able to increase passengers from 1.2 lakhs per day to 1.5 lakhs
4) ‌Vendors should help the Government Departments identify robust and apt solutions as per the challenges on hand. And, help them to optimize their operations and improve their commercial viability
