In his presentation titled, ‘Transforming the Public Enterprise through Citrix Solutions’, Nilesh Goradia, Head – Pre-Sales, Citrix India, talked about how Citrix could help address key government challenges such as IT security, mobility and green IT through its solutions that leverage virtualisation, thin clients and cloud computing.
Goradia talked about how through its desktop virtualisation solutions, the government could have an infrastructure that is secured by design, offers anywhere access to applications, and also greater TCO and increases equipment lifecycle.
He explained how the company’s NetScalar solution would offer enhanced network and overall infrastructure performance, while its MDM solutions would help the government deliver adminstrative applications on mobile in a secure manner.
