Tezos India launches ‘SheCrypt’ campaign to boost women’s participation in the crypto & blockchain space

International Women’s Day is celebrated on March 08 every year with the objective to highlight and commemorate the cultural and socio-economic achievements of women worldwide. Ahead of Women’s Day this year, Tezos India has announced the launch of its month-long campaign titled ‘SheCrypt – Women in Crypto and Blockchain’ in a bid to encourage increased and active participation of women in crypto and blockchain, as well as to celebrate their achievements and make them aware of the myriad opportunities they can explore in today’s burgeoning crypto and blockchain ecosystem.

As a part of the SheCrypt campaign, Tezos India will be organising a number of virtual panel discussions, masterclasses with industry experts and Ask Me Anything (AMA) sessions, among other awareness and education-centric activities throughout the entire month of March – which is also observed as the Women’s History Month. The first-panel discussion session of the SheCrypt campaign is round the corner; it will be held virtually on March 11 wherein industry experts such as Firdosh Sheikh, CEO, Drife; Tarusha Mittal, Co-Founder and COO, Oropocket; Echo Li, NE Asia – Marketing Lead, TA APAC and Sumin Kwon, Marketing Executive, TZ APAC will discuss – ‘Opportunities for women in Web3’.

Additionally, Tezos India will be educating the participants of SheCrypt campaign through their weekly blogs, monthly newsletter, social media, and most importantly, by enabling them to explore successful careers in the blockchain and crypto world through high-quality mentorships. PinkStripes – a career accelerator platform for women’s career development – has collaborated with Tezos India as the official mentorship partner for the SheCrypt participants’ community.

Among other notable players in the crypto, blockchain and Web3 space who would be joining in the SheCrypt initiative through various strategic contributions or collaborations include WazirX, Kalamint, Drife, Oropocket and many more. Further, the initiative — which strives to be chain-agnostic at its core – will introduce women to a variety of important blockchain and Web3 related ecosystems such as Solana, Kalamint and the Tezos blockchain. Among successful women leaders from the Web3 domain who shall be part of SheCrypt sessions include – Firdosh Sheikh, CEO, Drife; Tarusha Mittal, COO and Co-Founder, Oropocket & UniFarm; Priyanka Sharma, Head of PR & Community, Wazrix; Seema Mishra, Co-Founder, Pinkstripes; Mumu – The Stan, NFT Artist and Poet; Marisa McKnight, Founder, Multisummit; and Sherry Jiang, CEO and Co-Founder, Bluejay Finance, among others.
