Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) first described by Gartner a year ago is an emerging strategy that combines network and security functions with WAN capabilities. Identities of entities can be associated with people, groups of people, Apps, IoT Frameworks. By 2024, at least 40% of enterprises will have explicit strategies to adopt SASE, up from less than 1% at year-end 2018.” Is such aggregation necessary and why you should pay attention to this offering?
