Preserving Customer Privacy with Zero Trust | 4th August 2021

Protecting personal data is essential for building brand trust.

80% of breached organizations stated that their customers’ personal data or PII was compromised during the breach, as per Ponemon cost of data breach study.

In addition, regulations like the Personal Data Protection Bill, currently being analysed by a JPC, could result in penalties of up to INR 15 crore for non-compliance with personal data requirements.

Given that sensitive customer data is pervasive, interspersed throughout the organization, businesses need to consider implementing privacy measures that extend data protection across the entire enterprise.

A ‘zero-trust’ approach can help organizations protect customer privacy with access controls that are based on the least privilege, giving access to only those with a legitimate need and for the agreed-upon purpose.

As a leader responsible for preserving customer privacy, you might have the following questions:
1) How do I establish, and enhance customer trust?
2) How do I make data access limited and conditional?
3) How do I know where customer data resides, who it belongs to, who has access, and how it’s being used?
4) How do I ensure adherence to RBI and other compliance requirements?

Join us for a session as we look to address these – and many more – questions that need to be answered to build customer trust and preserve customer privacy.
