Dell Technologies has expanded its cybersecurity and resilience portfolio with new services and capabilities designed to protect AI environments, identity systems and IT infrastructure against emerging threats.
The additions include AI security services, enhanced PowerProtect capabilities, identity resilience features, managed threat detection and quantum-safe encryption.
To strengthen security across AI environments, Dell has introduced its Security Hardening for Dell AI Factory service. Dell experts will assess physical, virtual and application layers, identify configuration risks and recommend controls aligned with an organisation’s IT and security standards. Its Resilience Operations for AI service will help businesses identify critical AI applications and establish recovery policies and procedures.
Dell has also enhanced the PowerProtect AI Assistant with a conversational interface for managing assets, tasks, restores and reports. Daily risk briefs and a human-in-the-loop approval process are designed to help teams identify issues and review actions before execution.
For identity systems, Dell has added recovery capabilities to PowerProtect for Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and Okta. These features are intended to help organisations restore identity platforms and access controls to a clean, trusted state following a compromise. Dell Managed Detection and Response for Identity will provide 24×7 monitoring for suspicious authentication activity, compromised accounts and privilege misuse, with automated response actions for defined threats.
Dell is also deepening integration between PowerProtect and PowerScale. The integration can automate the scheduling and management of retention-locked local snapshots, while PowerScale SmartSync support enables snapshots to be synchronised with Dell ObjectScale for additional recovery and long-term retention.
On quantum readiness, the latest Dell PowerStore software introduces quantum-safe data-in-flight encryption over Fibre Channel connectivity, for supported Dell PowerEdge configurations. The company has also introduced a Post-Quantum Readiness Assessment to identify cryptographic exposure across IT infrastructure and devices, prioritise migration actions and rank risks by criticality.
Venkat Sitaram, Senior Director and Country Head, Infrastructure Solutions Group, India, Dell Technologies, said organisations were facing greater complexity and faster-moving threats as AI adoption accelerated. He said the company’s services and infrastructure portfolio were intended to help businesses strengthen cyber resilience across AI environments, identity systems and IT infrastructure.
