GoTrust, a privacy, security and data governance platform, has introduced Version 2.1 with updates aimed at simplifying privacy compliance programmes, accelerating deployment and improving platform stability.
According to company-reported figures, the release enables up to 30% faster deployment, reduces steps in common compliance workflows by 25% and reports 40% fewer bugs compared with Version 1.1. GoTrust has also reported a 20% reduction in setup-related support queries.
The update is designed to address challenges faced by privacy and compliance teams, including lengthy implementation timelines, complex workflows and technical issues that can interrupt routine tasks. The company said the improvements are intended to reduce time spent on setup and troubleshooting as organisations manage requirements under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other privacy regulations.
Version 2.1 builds on GoTrust’s platform, which combines consent management, privacy automation, data governance, Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) and AI governance. The platform offers on-premises and software-as-a-service (SaaS) deployment options, alongside more than 300 pre-built integrations across systems, applications and AI models.
Commenting on the update, Himanshu Gautam, Founder & CEO, GoTrust, said:
“Privacy compliance is becoming an ongoing responsibility for businesses, with teams required to manage multiple regulations and processes simultaneously. However, the tools they use should not add to that complexity. With Version 2.1, we have focused on making GoTrust easier to set up, simpler to use and more reliable in everyday operations. These improvements are aimed at helping organisations manage compliance work more efficiently as their requirements evolve.”
