Nutanix ties-up with Dell for converged infra

Nutanix, a enterprise virtualisation and storage company today announced its entry into the Indian market and also announced a strategic partnership with Dell for converged infrastructure appliances.

According to the Silicon based company, the new solution will address CIO needs for swift, converged and cost effective infrastructure to handle unstructured data arising from disruptive technologies like cloud, analytics, mobile and social.

On the non exclusive partnership with Dell, Pandey added, “We are glad to be partnering with one of the world leaders in storage, servers and networking. The product is in sync with our vision to deliver easy-to-use products based around fundamental technology shifts in enterprise mobility, consumer-grade design, big data analytics, and hybrid cloud architectures to deliver benefits of web-scale technologies to the masses.”

Under the partnership with Dell, Nutanix will offer its NOS software to Dell C Series of web-scale converged appliances build on Dell PowerEdge servers and provide a hyper converged server, storage and networking appliance to address the needs of low-cost, highly efficient data storage.
