TCS, ManageEngine partner to deploy IT management solutions on sovereign cloud

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and ManageEngine, the enterprise IT management and security software division of Zoho Corporation, have entered into a technology partnership to support the adoption of sovereign cloud services in India.

Under the agreement, ManageEngine’s enterprise IT management solutions will be deployed on TCS SovereignSecure Cloud, the company’s indigenous, AI-enabled cloud offering.

The partnership is intended to help government agencies, public sector organisations and enterprises manage cloud and AI workloads while meeting data sovereignty and regulatory requirements.

Satishchandra Doreswamy, Vice President and Global Head of TCS SovereignSecure Cloud, said sovereign cloud infrastructure would play a role in India’s AI-led transformation.

“Sovereign cloud technology will play an important role in India’s AI-led transformation, enabling organisations to innovate while retaining control over their data and critical workloads,” Doreswamy said.

“TCS SovereignSecure Cloud brings together secure cloud infrastructure, architecture and deployment capabilities to help customers address their sovereignty and regulatory requirements. By adding ManageEngine’s enterprise IT management capabilities to this ecosystem, we will help government, public sector and enterprise customers manage their cloud and AI workloads securely, reliably and at scale,” he added.

Rajesh Ganesan, CEO of ManageEngine, said the partnership would support sovereign cloud adoption across government and private sector organisations.

“India is ready for the next phase of digital sovereignty, and the country’s technology companies have an important role to play in enabling it. We are pleased to partner with TCS to support sovereign cloud adoption across government, public sector and private enterprises,” Ganesan said.

“With more than two decades of experience in managing complex cloud infrastructures, we will help TCS and its customers operate their sovereign cloud workloads with confidence and reliability,” he added.

The companies said the collaboration would combine TCS’s sovereign cloud infrastructure and deployment capabilities with ManageEngine’s IT management solutions. The announcement did not specify a deployment timeline or identify the individual ManageEngine products to be integrated.
