Tata Docomo bets big on startups in AP & Telangana

Tata Teleservices is now focusing on the upcoming start-ups in AP and Telangana to enable them offer better delivery quotient to their customers. Tata Docomo has registered 11% year-on-year growth vis-à-vis 7% industry growth in the enterprise business of Andhra Pradesh & Telangana for FY 2015. The double digit growth has come with its superior ‘customer centricity’ approach and enhanced capability to offer a wide range of business solutions to enterprises across industry segments.

Elaborating on the company’s business plan for AP and Telangana, Avinash Gabriel, Vice President-Operations, South & East India, Tata Teleservices, said “ AP and & Telangana is a home to some of the largest IT/ITeS and pharmaceutical, healthcare companies, startups and SMBs. In fact, beating the global slowdown, Andhra Pradesh (including Hyderabad) , despite being a new State achieved a growth rate of 11+ % with plans to raise it to 14% to 15% in the next few years.[1] Both the states are at forefront for entrepreneurship, a number of start-ups and existing units have started expanding their operations owing to an encouraging policy environment.
