Xflow launches a SaaS subscription management tool for businesses

Cross-border payments company Xflow has launched a SaaS Subscription Management tool to help businesses manage recurring payments to global software vendors, including AWS, OpenAI, Figma and Slack.

As Indian businesses expand their use of global software platforms, managing recurring payments through domestic cards has become increasingly challenging. Cross-border transactions can be expensive and are subject to card and recurring-payment restrictions, which can result in failed payments. Subscriptions spread across multiple cards, employees, currencies and renewal dates also make it difficult for finance teams to track software expenditure.

Under the new offering, businesses can fund their Xflow accounts through SWIFT transfers in US dollars or domestic NEFT/RTGS transfers in Indian rupees. They can then use a USD virtual card to pay for their SaaS subscriptions.

The platform consolidates subscription payments and tracking, allowing finance teams to monitor software expenditure through a single dashboard rather than relying on multiple card statements and employee reimbursements. It is also designed to help organisations manage SaaS spending as a consolidated portfolio.

“Paying for SaaS tools is a monthly operational and compliance hassle. Cards often get declined on auto-renewals, approvals get stuck on OTPs, and tracking software expenses across teams is complicated. With Xflow, our international software payments just go through, and we can manage it all in one place. Some of our portfolio companies have also been using Xflow to pay for their SaaS subscriptions,” said Amit Gajaria, Senior Manager – Finance, Blume Ventures.

Ashwin Bhatnagar, Co-founder and CEO of Xflow, said that recurring international software payments continue to create operational challenges for Indian businesses. Citing industry estimates, he said more than 30% of card-based recurring payments in India tend to fail.

“Every renewal can mean another decline, an employee fronting costs on a personal card, or a separate remittance for each vendor. Our thesis is simple: make the lives of finance teams easier. With this tool, a business pays Xflow once, and we take care of every SaaS subscription after that, tracked on one dashboard, with no change to how teams work,” Bhatnagar said.

He added that the company is already processing millions in volume since the launch, indicating demand among finance teams for a consolidated approach to international software payments.

The SaaS Subscription Management tool expands Xflow’s cross-border payments portfolio. The company provides payment infrastructure for businesses ranging from freelancers and mid-market enterprises to large platforms serving millions of customers. It is backed by investors including Lightspeed, General Catalyst and Stripe.
