L&T Finance launches ‘Sachet with Sachet’ to help users make safer digital financial decisions in 2026

As digital financial transactions continue to surge, so do cyber threats targeting unsuspecting users. Addressing this growing challenge, L&T Finance Ltd. (LTF)—formerly L&T Finance Holdings Limited—has launched ‘Sachet with Sachet’, a cyber safety initiative designed to help users navigate the digital financial ecosystem more securely and confidently.

Anchored by the animated avatar of LTF’s financial awareness mascot, Sachet Kumar, the initiative blends interactive technology, gamified learning, and practical tools to build safer digital habits as India steps into the New Year 2026.

At the core of the initiative is Ltfsachet.in, a dedicated microsite that equips users with easy-to-use resources to identify, understand, and avoid financial scams. One of its standout features is the Link Verification Tool, which allows users to paste suspicious URLs and instantly assess their safety. Powered by Google Safe Browsing and the ChatGPT API, the tool categorises links into a simple, colour-coded risk system—green for safe, orange for moderate risk, and red for high-risk scams—making cyber awareness accessible even to first-time users.

Beyond verification, the platform encourages learning through gamified scam-awareness quizzes covering real-world fraud scenarios such as UPI scams, phishing attacks, deepfakes, and advance-fee frauds. Users who successfully navigate these challenges earn the ‘Sachet Shield’ digital badge, recognising them as ‘Scam-Smart’.

The microsite also features a scam-safety education hub, offering a growing digital library of learning modules and financial awareness videos. These resources are aimed at helping users recognise everyday digital threats and take proactive steps to protect themselves.

Commenting on the initiative, Ms. Kavita Jagtiani, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at L&T Finance Ltd., said,

“Today, nearly everyone with a smartphone has, in some way, been targeted by scams. Fraudsters have become incredibly sophisticated, using technology to blur the line between what is real and what is fake. Those who are less digitally savvy are often the most vulnerable, risking the loss of their hard-earned life savings in an instant. ‘Sachet with Sachet’ is our sincere attempt to educate and empower every citizen. By providing active tools and simple guidance, we want to ensure that being ‘Scam-Smart’ becomes the new norm.”

To amplify reach and engagement, LTF has rolled out a robust influencer-led and social media strategy focused on community participation. The campaign features podcast-style collaborations where influencers host the animated mascot Sachet Kumar as a special guest, sharing actionable scam-safe resolutions for 2026.

This is further supported by a vox pop activation, where creators engage the public through on-ground conversations about digital fraud, rewarding participants who demonstrate strong scam awareness with physical Sachet Shield trophies.

With ‘Sachet with Sachet’, L&T Finance is positioning cyber awareness not as a one-time message, but as a continuous, interactive habit—empowering users to make smarter, safer financial decisions in an increasingly digital-first world.
