Radisson Hotel Group has partnered with Accenture to launch an AI-powered hotel discovery application on ChatGPT, allowing travellers to search, compare and plan stays through natural language conversations.
Available as @RadissonHotels on ChatGPT, the application enables users to discover hotels across more than 1,000 properties in over 100 countries. It provides real-time room availability, rates, hotel amenities, location details and maps before directing users to the Radisson Hotels website to complete bookings.
The launch is part of Radisson Hotel Group’s strategy to expand AI-driven customer engagement as travellers increasingly use generative AI platforms to research and plan trips.
Citing Accenture’s Consumer Pulse Research, the companies said 87% of travellers are open to using an AI-powered travel agent to find accommodation, while 71% expect AI to influence at least half of their spending on hotels or airlines over the next 12 months.
According to the companies, the application was developed using Accenture’s AI Merchant Center and integrates directly with Radisson Hotel Group’s existing booking systems to provide real-time hotel information. Future updates are expected to add capabilities such as personalised recommendations, loyalty programme integration, in-chat booking and reservation management.
“AI is radically transforming how people search for and book hotel stays, and we are committed to being at the forefront of this shift,” said Gianni Di Fede, Chief Commercial Officer, Radisson Hotel Group.
“Agentic commerce is fundamentally changing how people discover and choose brands,” said Ndidi Oteh, Chief Executive Officer, Accenture Song.
