HDFC Life, one of India’s leading private life insurers, showcased the growing scale of AI across its business at InsurAI 3.0, the third edition of its flagship AI event. Themed ‘Human AI Collaboration’, the event brought together AI solutions developed by HDFC Life’s teams and partners to enhance customer experience, accelerate turnaround times, strengthen decision-making and build smarter internal processes.
The Company, along with its solutions partners showcased AI-led innovations across sales, service, underwriting, claims and operations, demonstrating how AI is moving from individual use cases to an enterprise-wide capability. 33 enterprise-level AI-led innovations were showcased at the event. Key developments showcased in the third season of InsurAI coverd nine technology themes — Voice AI, Vision AI, Developer AI, Agentic AI, Sales AI, Tech Innovation, Complaint Analytics & Customer Service, Do-It-Yourself (hands-on session for employees) and Employee Productivity — reflecting the breadth of AI adoption across the Company.

Among the solutions showcased were GenAI-powered voice bots supporting customer service, cross-sell and persistency; complaint prediction and AI-assisted response drafting to accelerate resolution; AI-enabled fraud investigation, facial verification and liveness detection; and bionic underwriting, which combines automation with human oversight. These capabilities are being built by HDFC Life’s teams and scaled through a unified governance framework. At the core of this AI ecosystem is GALAXY 2.0, HDFC Life’s unified platform for governed AI adoption, providing a common foundation to build and scale AI capabilities responsibly across the enterprise.
