Thales Cyber Summit: New AI-Powered Cybersecurity Solutions to Protect Organisations and Societies Against Emerging Threats

0 2

Thales brought together cybersecurity leaders and experts at its Cyber Summit in Paris to examine the rapidly evolving threat landscape and showcase technologies designed to help organisations stay ahead of emerging cyber risks.

Held under the theme ‘HALFWAY IS NO WAY’, the Summit highlighted the need for comprehensive cybersecurity across critical applications, data and identities, wherever they operate and whenever threats emerge.

The event featured live demonstrations of Thales’ latest cybersecurity innovations, addressing emerging challenges driven by artificial intelligence, quantum computing and automation. Technologies showcased include deepfake detection, governed AI agents, post-quantum cryptography and advanced cyber protection.

The Summit also marked a significant expansion of Thales’ cybersecurity portfolio with the launch of five major solutions and initiatives:

  • Luna 8: A new hardware security module designed to help organisations protect critical data against the emerging threat posed by quantum computing, using advanced post-quantum cryptography.

  • CipherTrust Data Security Posture Management (DSPM): An AI-enhanced solution that helps organisations discover and protect sensitive data while identifying and automatically applying immediate mitigations.

  • Sentinel Envelope+: Advanced software protection designed to defend against emerging AI-powered attacks.

  • Google Cloud partnership: Thales and Google Cloud are working together to help organisations secure agentic AI operations through Thales’ AI Security Fabric, a unified approach designed to protect AI agents, data and interactions across the AI lifecycle.

  • New global cybersecurity approach: Thales is introducing an approach designed to anticipate, detect and respond to AI-driven threats at machine speed by combining advanced technologies, real-time threat intelligence and cyber expertise.

Philippe Vallée, EVP Cyber & Digital Identity, Thales, said: “Cybersecurity has never been more central to the sustainability and resilience of our societies. As AI advances at extraordinary speed, we are entering a period of profound transformation, bringing both significant risks and enormous potential for progress. Cybersecurity has a critical role to play in making that future secure and possible.

“By securing the technologies we develop, along with the data, applications, identities and infrastructure on which they rely, we can build the trust needed to embrace innovation. Cybersecurity is not about protecting ourselves from the future; it is about giving society the tools today to move towards it.”

The Thales Cyber Summit demonstrates how organisations can move beyond preparing for the future of cybersecurity to actively deploying technologies that address emerging threats today.
