Deloitte India and Avolution Announce Strategic Alliance to Advance Enterprise Architecture, AI Governance
Deloitte India and Avolution announced a strategic alliance to help organisations strengthen enterprise architecture capabilities and make more informed technology and transformation decisions through Avolution’s ABACUS platform.
Under the alliance, Deloitte India led the implementation of ABACUS, combining its technology strategy and transformation expertise with the platform’s enterprise architecture and AI governance capabilities. The collaboration was aimed at helping organisations navigate growing technology complexity, accelerate AI adoption and support technology-led transformation.
Through ABACUS, Deloitte India helped organisations develop a connected view of their business and technology landscape, bringing together applications, data, technology and AI capabilities. The platform’s adaptive enterprise modelling and impact analysis capabilities enabled organisations to assess dependencies, potential risks and the implications of transformation initiatives.
Its AI governance capabilities also supported organisations in tracking AI model usage, risk and compliance across the enterprise. These capabilities were intended to provide greater visibility into complex technology environments and support more informed transformation and investment decisions.
Deloitte India’s expertise in enterprise architecture, business transformation, operating model design and technology advisory further strengthened the alliance, enabling clients to integrate architecture insights into broader transformation programmes. The approach supported CIOs and business leaders in aligning technology priorities with business strategy, optimising technology investments and strengthening governance as organisations modernised their technology environments and scaled AI adoption.
Aakash Tyagi, Partner, Technology Strategy & Transformation, Deloitte India, said: “As organisations accelerated digital transformation and AI adoption, enterprise architecture became a critical enabler of business agility and technology modernisation. Through our alliance with Avolution, we combined Deloitte India’s technology strategy and transformation capabilities with the ABACUS platform to help organisations address technology debt, strengthen AI governance and make more informed investment decisions. Together, we helped clients unlock greater value from their technology ecosystems and drive sustainable, technology-led growth.”
Richard Ward, Chief Executive Officer, Avolution, said: “Every organisation wanted to move faster with AI, but automation depended on having visibility into the technology landscape. Deloitte India’s delivery expertise, combined with the ABACUS platform, gave complex enterprises a clearer view of their technology environments, enabling them to address legacy constraints, optimise investments and build the foundations for an agentic future.”
The alliance initially focused on banking, insurance and financial services organisations across South Asia, with India serving as the lead market. Deloitte India and Avolution also planned to expand the joint offering through industry-specific business architecture frameworks, enhanced enterprise transformation capabilities and integrated value realisation services.
The collaboration was also expected to explore opportunities across government, healthcare, telecommunications, manufacturing and energy, alongside broader regional engagements and co-innovation initiatives, to help organisations strengthen governance and deliver measurable business outcomes.
