Acumatica has opened a Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad, starting with more than 30 employees, as the cloud ERP company expands its engineering footprint in India.

Located in Nanakramguda, the centre will initially focus on engineering and product development, with plans to expand into additional functions as the company grows. The GCC will serve as a centre of engineering excellence supporting Acumatica’s products and customers globally.

The Hyderabad centre joins Acumatica’s operations in the US, Canada, Serbia and Sri Lanka. The company said India’s engineering talent pool and technology ecosystem were key factors in selecting Hyderabad for the new centre.

“We have created the core of our growth engine in India with an initial seed, and we look forward to it becoming a mature tree and a major contributor to the success of Acumatica customers and Acumatica itself,” said Miten Mehta, Chief Engineering Officer, Acumatica.

The GCC has been established in partnership with Summit Consulting Services, an ANSR company, which is supporting Acumatica with capability design, talent strategy and operational scaling.
