BD Software Distribution partners with PrahiX to expand enterprise security portfolio in India

BD Software Distribution has announced a partnership with PrahiX to distribute the latter’s enterprise technology and cybersecurity platform in India.

The association brings PrahiX’s ORA platform into BD Software’s portfolio. ORA brings together visibility across IT infrastructure, networks, security and physical environments, with capabilities covering network monitoring, AIOps, security information and event management, security orchestration and automated response, video management and AI-based video analytics.

The companies said the platform is designed to correlate information from systems that typically operate separately, giving organisations a consolidated view of infrastructure, security and operational events.

For BD Software, the partnership adds PrahiX’s platform to its cybersecurity channel ecosystem, while PrahiX gains access to BD Software’s partner network in India. The companies said the association is aimed at organisations looking to bring monitoring, detection and response capabilities into a more integrated operating environment.

“Organizations today are managing increasingly complex IT and security environments, where visibility, timely detection, and rapid response are critical,” said Zakir Hussain Rangwala, CEO, BD Software Distribution. “PrahiX brings a differentiated approach by bringing infrastructure, security, and operations intelligence together through a unified platform.”

Jahnavi Seth, CEO and Founder, PrahiX, said fragmented data across monitoring and security systems can make it difficult for organisations to understand incidents quickly. “PrahiX ORA addresses this challenge by correlating infrastructure, security, and operational intelligence to provide a unified view of what is happening across the enterprise,” she said.

The partnership will focus on enabling organisations to monitor, correlate and respond to events through a common platform, according to the companies.
