Digital India: Ericsson tiesup with Sterlite Technologies for smart city initiatives in India
The solutions covered in the agreement include, Communications (Wi-Fi networks and Fiber deployment), Public safety (Video situational awareness solutions and Emergency Response), Intelligent transport (Traffic Management and Fleet Management) and Smart Grid solutions (Smart Grid communications and Smart Metering).
Ericsson has signed an agreement with Sterlite Technologies, to design a roadmap and deploy solutions and services required to create a fully functioning knowledge-based society.The alliance will design, deploy, integrate and manage solutions in areas such as communications, public safety, intelligent transport and smart grid solutions, which will enable the establishment of sustainable smart cities in India.
