Enlight Metals introduces multi-AI agent procurement platform to transform steel supply chains
Enlight Metals has launched a multi-AI agent procurement platform aimed at helping manufacturing and steel companies automate procurement workflows, improve cross-functional collaboration and streamline supply chain operations.
The platform is designed to address operational challenges arising from fragmented communication and manual coordination across business functions such as procurement, inventory management, logistics, finance, sales and customer support.
According to the company, the platform deploys multiple AI agents, each designed for a specific business function, that work together to automate routine processes and provide real-time operational insights. Rather than functioning as standalone assistants, the AI agents collaborate across departments to support decision-making and improve visibility across supply chain operations.
For example, when a customer requests the availability of a particular steel grade, the platform can simultaneously check inventory levels, procurement schedules, logistics capacity and pricing information before generating a response.
