Team Computers is on a massive recruitment drive, planning to recruit 1000 employees soon. Currently, the New Delhi-based company has over 3000 employees spread over 11 offices across India.

The COVID-19 pandemic has tested the resilience of people and companies as they have accelerated digital transformation and looked at a new way of doing things to match the new normal. This has led to heavy hiring in the IT sector across various roles and skillsets. The demand for IT services has been very positive and companies have announced ambitious growth plans. The IT sector has grown over the last five years at a CAGR of 7% and the headcount has grown at 5%.

The sudden onset of the pandemic and the accompanying disruption has led to an unexpected acceleration in the demand for digital talent. It left companies a little unprepared but they have stepped on the pedal now. Enterprises are adopting a multi-angled approach to solve the talent issue. They are accelerating fresh recruitment on one hand while introducing re-skilling programs on the other via online classes, on the job training and offer a holistic employment experience that covers career development, learning and wellness.

Team Computers is planning to recruit young talent from Tier II locations with a remote working option so that they can support their families comfortably. The company is planning on an all-India campus hiring process that will attract gifted professionals from management colleges. Team Computers is on a tremendous growth spree year on year and the demand for talent has accelerated in leaps and bounds. Team Computers is growing at a CAGR of about 35% which is why they are planning to hire more people this year. They have announced hiring plans across Sales, Software engineers, Managed services, Power BI, Big Data Solutions, AI/ML along with senior management hiring.

In a departure from the usual, Team Computers has been offering campus recruits, a five-year career growth path apart from the details of the joining package and this is expected to go down well with the candidates. Team Computers expects to get an excellent response for its placement drive this year as it steps up hiring to meet the growing business needs of the near future.

Speaking about the recruitment drive, Mr Ranjan Chopra, Founder and CEO, Team Computers, said, “ We are excited about this new phase of growth for our company and are eager to add 1000 new professionals to our workforce. The IT sector in India is poised for an exciting growth trajectory and we expect to be an active participant in this cycle. We would like to help candidates in Tier-II cities by providing them with remote working opportunities that will give them a new lease of life.”
