He also expressed his opinions on how the current changes in technology have affected the startup ecosystem.
- What do you think about how quickly technology is being embraced by consumers and businesses alike, especially in the wake of the pandemic? How has the startup community been affected by the transformation?
We all had a difficult time during the pandemic. All of us have experienced the loss of a loved one. In the wake of the pandemic, people have begun to value life differently. People have begun to value their time; therefore, they no longer want to wait in lines and instead use digital tools to complete tasks that used to take them a long time to complete, all from the comfort of their own homes.
People today value their privacy and free time far more than they did in the past and are conscious of how precarious life is due to pandemics. As a result, I believe it is contributing to the technological shift in mind processes towards living in the present and making the most of technology so that they can actually carve out a lot of time for themselves.
One third of the Indian population currently uses UPI, which unquestionably represents a significant boom for the current startup ecosystem. In line with the expansion of our economy, per capita income is rising. Technology has made enormous progress in our ability to pay with money. Actually, India is the frontrunner on that side. According to me, this has created a situation where many micropayments can be made.
I think there will be a major boom for that kind of business over the next ten years. A lot of entrepreneurs are working on that side, where they are offering services digitally and expecting customers to pay using UPI or digital wallets.
- There are so many new technologies on the horizon, and big data and AI analytics in particular, will have a significant impact on customer experience. At this time, providing a smooth client experience is the main objective of every organisation. How are you using these technologies to give customers a wonderful experience?
What’s going on in the world of ChatGpt and the greatest use case where 90 percent of all reservations for vacations are currently made offline since customers have numerous queries, like a hotel or airline ticket, where there aren’t many questions. You can immediately book a hotel room after viewing the photographs and viewing the airline schedules and deals.
Even today, the majority of trips are really booked through a travel agent because there are a hundred additional touchpoints involved in a trip.
However, the expense of using ChatGPT technology is increasing, especially when making vacation plans.
It actually acts almost like a travel agent when you speak, helping to create highly customised, unique travel plans for clients in accordance with their tastes. Then, using a plugin we’re creating for ChatGPT, you can actually buy the entire package with just one click once you’ve created the complete customised bundle. This is how we are advancing with the most recent technologies by leveraging the ChatGPT use case.
- What are your top priorities in terms of technology for the next two years?
In essence, expanding abroad is our main area of interest. The organisation has currently started operating in the UK, Dubai, and a few other nations as well. We are now excited to construct in India for the world.
