IIT Bombay’s TIH concludes ATMAN 3.0 accelerator; six HealthTech startups recommended for seed funding support

The Technology Innovation Hub (TIH) at IIT Bombay, under the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, has concluded ATMAN 3.0, an eight-week accelerator programme focused on supporting early-stage HealthTech start-ups. The programme culminated in a Demo Day that brought together investors, healthcare leaders, industry experts and policymakers.

ATMAN 3.0 received participation from 173 healthtech start-ups across India. Following a selection and mentoring process, a final cohort of 13 ventures was accelerated, from which six start-ups were selected as winners. These start-ups have been recommended for cumulative seed funding of up to ₹6 crore, with each venture eligible for support of up to ₹1 crore, subject to evaluation outcomes.

Start-ups selected under ATMAN 3.0

The six shortlisted start-ups and their focus areas include:

  • Prezitech Health Pvt LtdPrecigo, a snap-on needle tracking system for ultrasound machines to support real-time procedural planning and guidance
  • Attox Research Laboratories Pvt LtdAMRIT, focused on antimicrobial resistance (AMR)
  • Queliz Lifetech Pvt LtdUltraHand, a robotic rehabilitation device
  • Deepfacts Private LtdproRITHM, an AI-driven remote patient monitoring platform using a compact wireless wearable for real-time vitals tracking
  • MicroHeal – (solution focus not detailed in the release)
  • Raycura Medical TechnologiesBETTER, a rehabilitation device for stroke and paralysis recovery

Industry perspectives and ecosystem focus

Kiran Shesh, CEO, TIH IIT Bombay, said the accelerator is intended to help founders strengthen HealthTech products and business readiness through structured mentorship and ecosystem access. Hardik Joshi, COO, TIH IIT Bombay, added that the programme’s support framework includes technology validation, regulatory guidance, investor readiness and industry connections.

The Demo Day featured a keynote address by Dileep Mangsuli, Chairman of Cancer Treatment Services International and Senior Vice President at Siemens Healthineers. He highlighted the growing importance of delivering quality healthcare at scale and the role of AI in early screening and prevention. He also pointed to themes such as patient “twinning” for personalised care pathways, precision therapy and the use of digital health data for improved clinical decision-making.

Beyond start-up showcases, the event included discussions on healthcare investment trends, regulatory developments and emerging technology models. Start-ups from previous TIH IIT Bombay programmes also engaged with investors for follow-on funding and partnership opportunities.
