With Adobe Spark, go solo

With Spark, Adobe aims to help individual entrepreneurs and small businesses create visual content that engages audiences across multiple channels and devices.

Someone has rightly said that great design translates into great content. We all want quality content and equally good experiences on all devices that we have. Look at the broader challenge of achieving it: currently there are 3.1 billion global consumers with internet access, each of them look for tailored experience with their unique interests, needs and preferences. Moreover, consider the explosion of new medium and formats driven by social media and mobility. Companies with deep pockets can afford to hire professional designers to satisfy the insatiable consumers but what about small businesses and individual entrepreneurs who lack the skill, time and resources to create something that cuts through the online clutter? A new service, called Spark from Adobe, precisely addresses this challenge.

Kulmeet Bawa, MD, South Asia, Adobe tells EC: “With the ongoing digital transformation, individuals as well as small businesses are constantly on the lookout for tools to help them create compelling content. Adobe Spark addresses this market requirement, and enables creation of intuitive and professional looking visual content—while taking away the complexity and time required in designing it.”

Basically, Adobe Spark is an integrated web and mobile solution for creating and sharing impactful visual stories. With this free tool anyone including small businesses, social marketers, individual entrepreneurs and students can create attractive visual content to engage audiences across multiple channels and on any device. So if you are a businessman, who would like to showcase products and services on social media sites like Twitter, Facebook, Instgram or LinkedIn or even on online website, you can use Spark to create attractive design and share them on-the-go without much of a hassle. “Adobe Spark delivers great value for solo entrepreneurs and small businesses who can easily create amazing digital content to reach out to their audiences,” informs Bawa.

Adobe is positioning Spark as a one-stop solution to create and post stunning digital content like web stories, animated videos, social graphics and other creative communications. Basically, Adobe Spark is not something new; it is part of Creative Cloud Suite that includes a number of re-branded associated apps that allow users to create, edit and share their story. They include the Adobe Spark web app, a browser-based platform for creating social posts and graphics, web stories and animated videos; Spark Post—an iOS mobile app to create social posts and graphics; Spark Page—an iOS mobile app that helps create web stories and Spark Video—an iOS mobile app that allows users to create animated video.

“Today anyone can create content and share it via social media, but most people lack the skill, time and resources to create something that cuts through the online clutter,” says Bryan Lamkin, executive VP and GM, Digital Media at Adobe.

In order to help entrepreneurs and businesses succeed, Adobe has collaborated with Facebook Blueprint—a new education program that trains agencies and marketers on how to use Facebook to create better campaigns to drive business results. Facebook’s Blueprint combines online courses, in-person training and certification, for campaign optimisation and use of video on Facebook for effective ad measurement solutions. As per the agreement, Adobe’s expert guidance through tutorial content on how to successfully market on the Facebook and Instagram platforms using Adobe Spark will be available on Facebook Blueprint platform.

In addition, Adobe Spark has also partnered with Change.org, a social change platform, to co-create training materials for petitioners. It is said that petitions with a video receive six times more signatures than those without.

So now one can use Adobe Spark for creating effective explainer videos for cause-based and crowdfunding campaigns to further their causes. With success with these platforms, Adobe is likely to add more features and platform to Spark in future, says an official.
