ZEISS launches innovation hub at IIT Madras Research Park

ZEISS has launched the ZEISS Innovation Hub at IIT Madras Research Park (IITMRP), Chennai, as part of an initiative to expand collaboration between the company’s research network and the IIT Madras ecosystem.

The hub will bring together ZEISS, IIT Madras faculty and researchers, startups and industry partners, with a focus on research and technology development in areas including advanced frugal engineering, harsh-environment optics, robotics and fluid dynamics.

The initiative will also support researcher exchanges, postgraduate research and engagement with IIT Madras students and graduates. The companies said the hub will be used to explore research ideas, assess their feasibility and develop applications with potential industrial use.
