[1] Approx. 14000 crores have been invested in the IT sector in WB from 2011-2023.

[2] There is approx. 2,53,000 direct employment in the IT sector in West Bengal.

[3] We have taken initiatives to take the IT movement to the tier 2 & tier 3 cities. So the grassroots can get involved in the IT revolution in the state.

[4] We have built around 22 IT parks across the state and around 571 companies are leveraging these IT parks.

[5] We are coming up with the Silicon Valley Hub of WB and the letters of intent have been sent to over 40 companies already.

[6] We are among the few states which have a dedicated data center policy.
